News Letters

Disclaimer:  A person may possess a certificate of training they received from us.  The certificate is NOT meant as an endorsement of the person or their ministry.  We DO NOT certify chaplains.  We simply provide high quality, ongoing emergency services chaplain training.

In our registration process, we attempt to determine that our students are mature, born-again, Bible-believing Christians with years of ministry experience.   Our goal is to primarily approve pastors, associates, and mature lay leaders.   However, each applicant is evaluated on a case-by-case basis.  In our application process, we do allow some latitude in approving existing chaplains whose lives and ministries do not necessarily meet our normal criteria for approval.

Our training is offered through the Continuing Education Department of the Assemblies of  God Theological Seminary in Springfield, MO   AGTS is an accredited educational institution offering masters and doctorate level degrees as well as continuing education in a variety of ministry disciplines.  Our emergency services chaplain training is provided both online (available anywhere in the world) AND via in-classroom instruction at a variety of locations around the country.
